“Rex is the kind of girl who doesn’t take no for an answer…. Her eyes are the color of grass, and completely stand out against her hair and fair skin, like a black marble on a piece of white paper.As soon as she turns 16, she is going skydiving, and one of our all time favorite things are roller coasters. I think she’s also eaten an alligator! She’s cool, and way different than most 13 year olds generally are. She isn’t boy crazy, and she doesn’t care what people think. She lives life to the fullest, by her own rules, and nobody can stop her. She’s…crazy.”

“My crazy best friend is the sun in my Solar System. She manages to laugh when she’s upset and see the wild, demented side of life instead of the average one. She makes me roar and shriek and snort with laughter, smile at the little things in life. She makes me sassy and snippy and cool and makes sure I know that I belong. She lives on the edge and urges me to “be spontaneous and quirky.” She takes me through imaginary jungles and we soar through the clouds, laughing along the way, because with us, the sky’s the limit.”

“Kelly isn't burdened by modesty the way I and well... everybody else in the universe is. I've seen her take off her tank top and change into a concert tee smack in the middle of Corporate Pig Stadium….For the most part, people don't know what to make of her. But I do. She's madness personified. Chaos in jeans. I'm happy to surf the tornado of her from one thrill to the next.

It's safer than surfing the internet.”
